CW5 Jerome Bussey is currently the Personnel Policy Integrator, Active Army, Warrant Officer Promotions, HQDA G1, Pentagon. He entered active duty with the United States Army in January 1986. During his tenure as an enlisted Soldier he served as a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer, Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical NCO, Utilities Equipment Repairer, and a Maintenance Supervisor. His enlisted assignments include: 130th Engineer Brigade, Hanau, Germany; 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas; Division Support Command, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey, South Korea; 1-12 Armor Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Division Support Command, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; and 520th Maintenance Company, Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

CW5 Jerome Bussey completed the Warrant Officer Candidate School and Engineer Warrant Officer Basic Course in 1999. CW5 Bussey served as the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Technician with the 14th Field Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia; as the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Technician for the 67th Combat Support Hospital, Wuerzburg, Germany; as the Commander of the 72nd Survey and Design Detachment, Fort Knox, Kentucky; as the Engineer, Military Police, and Chemical Warrant Officer Assignment Officer, Human Resource Center of Excellent, Fort Knox, Kentucky; as the Facility Manager in Polices, Plans and Requirements Directorate, White House and as the Personnel Policy Integrator, Active Army, Warrant Officer Promotions, HQDA G1, Pentagon. His combat tours include serving as the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Technician for the 67th Combat Support Battalion in Iraq and as the Commander for the 72nd Survey and Design Detachment in Iraq.


His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3OLCs), Army Commendation Medal (4OLCs), Army Achievement Medal (5OLCs), Army Good Conduct Medal (4th Award); National Defense Service Medal (2ND Award), Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Ribbon with numeral five. He is also authorized to wear the Presidential Support and Army Staff Badge.

CW5 Bussey professional military education includes the Engineer Warrant Officer Basic Course and the Engineer Warrant Officer Advance Course (Fort Leonard Wood, MO); Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education and Warrant Officer Senior Service College (Fort Rucker, AL); How the Army Runs, Army Force Management School (Fort Belvoir, VA) and Senior Leader Seminar, Army War College’s Center for Strategic Leadership (Shepherdstown, WV). He has a MBA with an emphasis in Project Management and has his Project Management Professional certification.
