CW3 Robert A. Lockwood entered the United States Army in 1996. His Professional Military Education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Warrant Officer Candidate Course, CBRN Warrant Officer Basic Course, and the CBRN Warrant Officer Advanced Course. He holds an Associate’s Degree in General Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management.

In twenty-two years of service, CW3 Lockwood has served in a variety of positions. His previous assignments include: Fire Team Leader, A Co 1/109 Infantry (PAARNG); Smoke Squad Leader, 4 Chemical Company, 2nd Infantry Division; Battalion CBRN NCO, 3-187 Infantry, 101st Airborne Division; Battalion CBRN NCO, 3rd Ranger Battalion; Regimental CBRN NCO, 75th Ranger Regiment; Brigade CBRN Officer, 212th Fires Brigade, 1st Armor Division; BN CBRN Warrant Officer, 3-43 Air Defense Artillery; Brigade Plans Officer, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. CW3 Lockwood’s previous assignment was as the Division CBRN Warrant Officer for the 10th Mountain Division. CW3 Lockwood has had eight combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terror, five to Afghanistan, two to Iraq, and one to Bahrain.

CW3 Lockwood has completed many additional military courses to include the Air Assault Course, Pathfinder Course, Airborne Course, Jumpmaster Course, Technical Escort Course, SOF Sensitive Site Exploitation Course, Battle Staff Course, Medical Effects of Ionizing Radiation Course, Anti-Terrorism Officer Basic Course, Advanced Radiological Safety Course, Radiological Packaging Course and the How the Army Runs Course. CW3 Lockwood is also a graduate of the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program.

CW3 Lockwood’s military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (with one Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with one Oak Leaf Cluster), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (with eight Oak Leaf Clusters), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (3 Campaign Stars), Iraq Campaign Medal (4 Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge and the Combat Action Badge. CW3 Lockwood has also been awarded the German Armed Forces Badge (in Gold), the Chilean Parachutist Badge, and is a member of the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.

CW3 Lockwood is married to his wife of fifteen years (Tasha) and has a daughter (Lisa) and three sons (Rexford, Lake, and William).
