Command Sergeant Major Timothy D. Lawless

      CSM Lawless is a native of Widnes, England and enlisted in the Army in April 1997 as an Infantryman. Following One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia he was assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, GA. His other assignments include Camp Shelby, MS; Fort Campbell, KY, Fort Bliss TX, and Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He has deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan.

      His military education includes all stages of the Non-Commissioned Officer Education System, the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course, NATO Combat Arms Recognition Course, various medical courses and the Asymmetric Warfare Course. His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion.

      His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd award), Bronze Star (3rd award, including “V” device), Army Commendation Award (7th award, including “V” device), and Purple Heart. He has also been awarded the Ranger Tab, the Senior Parachutist Badge (with Combat Jump Star), Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Air Assault Badge, Pathfinder Torch and German Parachutist Badge.
