CSM Franco

CSM Rebecca Franco

     Command Sergeant Major Rebecca Franco, a native of Pennsylvania, enlisted into the United States Army in October 1991, where she completed One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort McClellan, AL as a Chemical Operations Specialist.

     She has served in every leadership position from Squad Leader to Operations Sergeant Major. Her other recent assignments include G33 Current Operations SGM with 20th CBRNE Command, HHC First Sergeant, 22nd Technical Escort Battalion, Team Sergeant with C Company, 22nd Technical Escort Battalion, the First Sergeant with C Company, Warrior Transition Battalion, SGS/Protocol NCOIC with 1st Theater Sustainment Command, and Senior Drill Sergeant with D Company, 82nd Chemical Battalion.

     Her stateside assignments include Fort McClellan Alabama, Fort Bliss Texas, Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, Fort Bragg North Carolina, and Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Her overseas assignments include Korea and Germany. She has deployed to Iraq and Kuwait.

     CSM Francoís military education include Chemical Operations Specialist Training, Warrior Leaderís Course, Advanced and Senior Leader's Course, Instructor Certification Course , Small Group Leader Certification Course, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Drill Sergeant Course, Basic and Advanced Protocol Course, First Sergeant Course, Technical Escort Course, Master Resiliency Course, and the Sergeants Major Academy. Her civilian education includes an Associatesí of Arts in General Studies with Central Texas College and is working towards her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

     Her awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (four oak leaf clusters), Army Commendation Medal (Silver oak leaf cluster), the Army Achievement Medal (three oak leaf clusters), Good Conduct Medal (seventh award), National Defense Medal (second award), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal (w/star), Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (third award), NATO Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Drill Sergeant Badge.
