Our Mission:

The mission of Bravo Company is to provide mission command, protect the force, and ensure the well-being of Soldiers; ensuring that each Soldier is administratively and medically processed for Basic Combat Training (BCT).

CPT Brian S. Johnston

Company Commander

Bravo Company Commander Captain Brian Johnston enlisted in the Army in 2005 as a Patient Administration Specialist and served for three years as a Reservist in the 396th Combat Support Hospital located in Spokane, WA before receiving his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Human Resources and commission through the Reserve Officer Training Program (ROTC) at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA. After receiving his commission in the Adjutant General Corps, CPT Johnston began his career by attending the Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC) at Fort Benning, GA and attended the Adjutant General BOLC at Fort Jackson, SC.
CPT Johnston's first assignment was with the US Army Pacific Officer Management Branch Strength Office located at Fort Shafter, HI. From there he was assigned as the Battalion S1 for the 3rd Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 3IBCT, 25ID, Schofield Barracks, HI where he deployed to the Kunar Province of Afghanistan as the Battalion S1 OIC for a period of 12 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning from Afghanistan, CPT Johnston attended the Adjutant General Captains Career Course at Fort Jackson, SC where he graduated with honors. CPT Johnston was then assigned to the 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment located at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany as the S1 OIC. During his time in Germany, he spent 12 months forward deployed to southern Turkey in support of Operation Active Fence with a unit mission of defending populated areas against ballistic missile attacks. His last nine months in Germany was spent as the G1 plans officer for the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command. CPT Johnston currently serves as the Company Commander for Bravo Company, 43D Adjutant General Battalion.
CPT Johnston's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2OLC), Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Superior Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, Overseas Service Ribbon (4), NATO Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.

1SG Wardah S. Veney

Company First Sergeant

Bravo Company 1SG 1SG Wardah S. Veney enlisted in the U.S. Army in August 1996 completing Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual training at Fort Jackson, SC.
1SG Veney’s previous assignments include: HHC USAG, Fort Lewis, WA; HQ USA Training Center, Fort Eustis, VA and HHD 765th Transportation Battalion, Fort Eustis, VA; C Company 10th Soldier Support Battalion, Fort Drum, NY and G Detachment 18th Personnel Services Battalion, Fort Drum, NY; Company B 2/60th Infantry Battalion, Fort Jackson, SC; 24th Combat Support Battalion, Baumholder, Germany; HHD 509th Signal Battalion, Vicenza, Italy and USARAF G1, Vicenza, Italy.
1SG Veney’s military / civilian education and training qualifications include: Adjutant General School, Basic Leaders Course, Combat Life Savers Course, Advance Leaders Course (Commandant’s List), Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Drill Sergeant School, Total Arm Instructor Training, Combatives Course (Level 1), Senior Leaders Course (Commandant’s List), Unit Prevention Leaders Course, Contracting Official Representative Course, Army Acquisition Basic Course and Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Program Course. 1SG Veney holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management. 1SG Veney’s awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Joint Unit Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Iraqi Campaign Service Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Number 3), Army Service ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Number 5), NATO Medal and Drill Sergeant Badge.
