CIVIL SUPPORT SKILLS COURSE

Course Scope:

 

Instruction is consistent with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 472 Standards and 29 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 1910.120. National Guard Civil Support Team CST members will receive training in the following: Hazardous Material Levels; Awareness, Operations, Technician and Incident Command. Training in CBRN Survey Operations, Point Reconnaissance Operations and Sampling Operations in support of and assistance to an Incident Commander at a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incident. The course will also provide training in Command, Control, and Communications Operations, Pesonal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection and use, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification, Individual decontamination procedures and finally, specialized training on a variety of military and commercial CBRN detection equipment. This course will conduct practical application exercises, field training exercises and finalize with a situational training exercise.
 

 

This course is scheduled thru ATRRS. If you are unable to register through ATRRS registration
